St Raphael of Brooklyn Orthodox Church

About our Parish

We are a friendly, growing parish of converts and cradle-Orthodox, and we love sharing our faith with inquirers and visitors. Our small temple is located in downtown Quincy, Illinois, and attracts members from a wide area, from Jacksonville, Illinois, to Kirkwood, Missouri.

Sunday mornings begin with the Hours at 9:10 a.m., during which parishioners arrive, light candles, and venerate icons. Divine Liturgy is served at 9:30 a.m., by Father John and our dedicated choir, readers, and altar servers. Afterwards, we head to the basement fellowship hall for coffee, snacks, and discussion.

You are warmly invited to join us! If you are an Orthodox Christian in the area, please get in touch. If you are an inquirer, you are welcome to visit us on a Sunday morning. Come and experience the ancient Christian faith.

*Please note masks and social-distancing are the norm at present. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
